Almost August!

It's been a long time since we've posted a blog because life has been crazy for us!

Dave has been taking 2 summer school classes online. He is finished with one, and has a week or so left of the other one.

I have been working lifeguarding in the morning and teaching swim lessons in the afternoon/evening.

In mid-July, we went on our annual houseboat trip with my family and our good family friends, the Spears'. We went to Lake McClure where we stayed on a church friend's houseboat. Dave improved his wakeboard skills (he's getting air now!), and I improved my skiing skills (I have not been wakeboarding due to a back injury). We enjoyed visiting with our friends and family. We met Matt Spears' girlfriend, Tiffany, and she was a lot of fun. She "fit in" well with the crowd (we're kinda crazy), so that's good! :)

Right before we went houseboating, WE MOVED! We had been looking at rental houses online, and found one we really liked. It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath single-family home with a 2-car garage and a pretty sizable yard (front and back). We got all our stuff moved over, and we were out of our apartment earlier than expected. The only major setback is that our fridge (we bought from friends) does not fit in the fridge space in the kitchen. We told the property management of this, and they offered to cut the 1/2" to 1" side of the counter off so it would fit :) We finally got a washer and dryer last night, and now we have clean clothes!

This coming weekend, I have a girls' weekend planned with my friends from college. We are going to stay at my parents' house and go all around the area. I'm looking forward to catching up with friends.

Dave just finished working on my car door (bolts were missing), so I am going to go check it out! Yay for a garage where Dave can work on cars :)
